# Custom Reporting

> Group reports and individual respondent reports, beyond the standard results dashboard.

Beyond the standard results dashboard (see the [Survey Analysis guide](/product/survey-analysis)), Wenite supports two kinds of configurable, filter-aware reporting: a **group report** built for a specific audience, and **individual reports** generated per respondent.

<Note>
  Both are **not self-service to design**. The custom layout — which sections, charts, and conditional logic go into a group or individual report — is built by Wenite, not by you in the portal. Talk to your Wenite success manager to have one created; once it exists (typically attached to a template), *using* it on a new survey is straightforward, as described below.
</Note>

## 1. Group report

If configured, the dashboard includes an extra tab with the **group report**. This contains additional charts tailored specifically to the survey.

The group report can be set up to automatically adapt based on the scores obtained. Specific conditions can be configured to show or hide certain sections, adjust text content, or use different color codes.

The scores and content shown automatically adapt based on the filters applied. This makes it easy to generate different reports for different socio-demographic groups in the organization (manager, department, team, and so on).

The group report can be exported as a **PDF** via the "Export page" button. Another option is to give the client a login to the Wenite dashboard, where you can configure which parts are visible.

<Note>
  There is currently no PowerPoint export function. The recommended approach is to take screenshots and place them in your own presentation. A PowerPoint export feature is in development.
</Note>

## 2. Individual reports

If configured, **individual reports** can be automatically generated as respondents complete the survey. The individual report can be set up to automatically adapt based on the scores obtained. Specific conditions can be configured to show or hide certain sections, adjust text content, or use different color codes.

These reports can either be shown immediately in the browser after completion, or sent by email to the respondent or another party.

Under the **Reports** tab (per survey), you can find the individual reports. If email addresses were used, you also see who completed which report.

<Tip>
  Individual reports are enabled per survey via the **DIF (individual feedback)** toggle in the survey's Details step — see the [Creating a Survey guide](/product/survey-creation).
</Tip>

## Recommended workflow

1. **Decide who the report is for** — a group report is built for one audience (e.g. a department head); an individual report goes out to every single respondent.
2. **Request the layout from your Wenite success manager** — this isn't something you build yourself in the portal; give them the audience and the conditions you have in mind.
3. **Set up conditional content** — once built, use score-based conditions to adapt sections, text, and color coding rather than requesting a separate report per group.
4. **Choose the delivery method** — a group report is exported as PDF or shared via dashboard access; an individual report is shown in-browser or emailed automatically on completion.
5. **Check the Reports tab** to see who has received or completed an individual report.
