# Company Analysis

> The Company Dashboard — KPI and module trends over time.

## 1. What is the Company Dashboard?

Where the results dashboard of a single survey gives you a snapshot (see the [Survey Analysis guide](/product/survey-analysis)), the **Company Dashboard** aggregates data across all of a company's surveys. It shows trends, the evolution of KPIs, and — with a Hub license — the continuous-listening analytics. This gives you a longitudinal view of wellbeing in the organisation instead of a single measurement.

Open it via **Dashboard** in the left-hand navigation panel of a client.

## 2. Two variants: Pulse vs Hub

Which dashboard you see depends on the client's license type (see the [Clients & Licensing guide](/product/crm/overview)):

| Variant             | License    | Time axis                                                                         |
| ------------------- | ---------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pulse dashboard** | PULSE | Trends across consecutive surveys ("waves") |
| **Hub dashboard** | CONTINUOUS | Trends over time based on continuously collected data, with a time axis in months |

The tabs are largely the same: **Overview**, **KPIs**, **Modules**, **Questions**, and **Insights**. Which tabs are visible depends on the user's permissions.

## 3. The Overview tab

The Overview shows the organisation's overall performance and its evolution. At its centre is a trend chart with:

* **Time axis** — months (Hub) or consecutive surveys (Pulse)
* **Score axis** — the score (0–100)
* **Trend lines** — one line per group when you select a breakdown
* **WPS color coding** — see section 5

Below the chart, pinned modules and KPIs appear as compact cards with their current score, a mini trend, and a WPS indicator. Click through on a card for the detail view. You choose what's pinned from the Modules/KPIs tabs, which also let you switch between list and grid view and filter or sort — useful once a client has a lot of modules and KPIs in play.

<Note>
  A trend line needs at least **two measurements**. With only one measurement, there's no evolution to show yet.
</Note>

## 4. Filters, timeframe, and breakdown

At the top of the dashboard, you configure what you're looking at:

| Setting                       | Description                                                                                                     |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Socio-demographic filters** | Restrict the results to a group (e.g. a department). Only company-wide socio-demographic questions appear here. |
| **Timeframe** (Hub dashboard) | E.g. the last month, 3 months, 6 months, a year, or all time. |
| **Breakdown** | Choose which socio-demographic question determines the groups in the trend chart (e.g. department). |

## 5. Benchmarks and the WPS

The **WPS** (Wenite Performance Score) indicates how good or bad a score is relative to the chosen benchmark. A positive WPS is better than the benchmark, a negative WPS is worse. The color indicates both direction and size of the difference:

| Color       | Meaning                                 |
| ----------- | --------------------------------------- |
| Dark green | +20 or more relative to the benchmark |
| Light green | +10 to +20                              |
| Yellow | Less than 10 absolute points difference |
| Light red   | −10 to −20                              |
| Dark red    | −20 or worse                            |

<Note>
  This is the same WPS color scale used on the Survey Analysis page — see that guide for the underlying WPS calculation.
</Note>

You choose the benchmark via the dropdown. The pinned benchmark applies to all users. Available options:

| Benchmark        | Description                                             |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Standard WPS** | Middle of the scale |
| **Trend** | Compares against the score from the previous survey |
| **Company** | Compares the filtered group against the company average |
| **Wenite**       | External reference group                                |

<Note>
  The **Trend** benchmark only includes respondents with two or more scores for the item.
</Note>

When a score has a **dot as superscript**, this means the difference with the benchmark is statistically significant — so you can say with some confidence that the score genuinely differs and isn't due to chance.

## 6. AI insights

Like the survey-level dashboard (see the [Survey Analysis guide](/product/survey-analysis) §10), the Insights tab has a purple **AI summary** button generating company-level insights: strengths, challenges, and mixed results, along with recommended actions. It's the fastest way to get a first read on trends across a client's full survey history, not just a single round.

<Note>
  This summary is AI-generated and may not be fully accurate. Consult the underlying data for complete insights.
</Note>

## 7. User activity

With a Hub license, there's a separate **User activity** page that tracks employee engagement over time:

* A **month selector** and a "Data collection in progress" indicator for the current month.
* A **trend chart** showing the number of active users per day.
* **Breakdown tables** per socio-demographic dimension (e.g. per department).

Activity is grouped into levels: Registered, Casual, Core, Power, and Active users.

## 8. Recommended workflow

1. **Start with the Overview** — review the overall trend and the pinned KPIs/modules.
2. **Choose a meaningful benchmark** — use "Trend" to show progress, or the Wenite benchmark for external context.
3. **Zoom in with filters and breakdown** — compare departments or adjust the timeframe.
4. **Read the AI insights as a starting point** for interpretation, and verify them against the underlying data.
5. **Track engagement via User activity** (Hub) to see whether the organisation keeps using the Hub.
